An international company based in the USA. A global producer and supplier of low-calorie sweeteners in the artificial sweetener market. Their products are delivered to customers in more than 90 countries.
The primary responsibility for this position is to support the production systems for various SAP FI/CO functional areas including GL, AR, AP, Banks, FSCM, Fixed Assets, Controlling, CO-PA, CO-PC. This includes daily support of the production applications in addition to executing all phases of project methodology to support business requirements. This consists of participation in requirements definition, system/program design, development, testing, and implementation. Position requires subject matter expertise on the integration of business processes within the modules identified above.
- Perform and assist in all cycles of project work from business requirements gathering through unit, integration/system, user acceptance testing into implementation of changes
- Document functional system designs and technical specifications
- Deliver other Finance, Supply Chain and IT projects as requested
- Collaborate on innovative solutions to support the future of Finance and Supply Chain
- Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in SAP’s new S/4HANA and future solutions
- Gather business requirements, analysis, configuration, testing, and coordination of enhancements in finance area.
- Work with business partners on planning future enhancements within a released based model
- Participate and coordinate system testing during functional and technical upgrades; update design and testing documentation as appropriate
- Clearly communicate thoughts, ideas, specifications, and requirements with internal teams
- Deliver projects on time and within budgetary parameters
- Follow company procedures and policies on application design, and development and compliance related requirements
- Provide operational Support of key applications including after-hours support
- Participation in SDLC and Agile driven project/enhancement requests
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance and accounting or IT discipline
- Minimum 5 years' SAP experience
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle of SAP implementation in FI/CO
- Experience with configuration of SAP FI/CO (Old and New GL, AR, AP, FA and Tax) modules. Configuration experience with other modules is a plus.
- Experience in writing Functional Specification Documentation (RICEFW)
- Ability to articulate solution and design options to business users in non-technical terms
- Strong listening skills and ability to communicate to users at all levels of the organization
- Experience in project methodology
- Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Multilingual in Czech, English. French language is a plus
