Senior Java Developer

Global financial institution with R&D development HUB in Prague. The company is using the most modern technology stack etc. Kubernetes, Openshift, cloud based technologies. Scrum based teams.

Responsibilities

- Development of custom features in Java, ensuring code quality and standards of the project
- Contribute to the transformation towards a modern Cloud-based Microservices architecture
- Integrate microservices through asynchronous and synchronous APIs
- Integrate process models and custom code into the CI/CD pipeline
- Integrate Apache Kafka messaging technology

Requirements

Software development:

- At least 4 years of experience with Java software application development
- Experience with Java/Spring Boot
- Experience with solid foundation of API concepts
- Experience with Google Could Technologies
- Keen on working in a challenging, sometimes ambiguous but technologically exciting environment inspired by teamwork and open collaboration

General skills:

- Interested in working in a multi-national team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English

Advantage:

- Experience with Containerization (OpenShift, Open Source Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, Docker)
- Experience with Cloud Services (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Messaging (JMS, IBM MQ, A-MQ, AMQP, Google Pub-Sub)
- Experience with Event-driven Architectures
- Familiar with Business Process Modeling Methodology
- Solid knowledge in financial markets and ideally in market infrastructures
