Test Engineer

Global financial institution.

- Working in international multilocation environment
- Review of IT specifications
- Functional test data definition based on specifications
- Defining test models / test cases from functional requirements / IT specifications in close collaboration with specifications and build teams as well as with the business side (Product Development and Business Operations)
- Responsibility for test execution, problem analysis and defect verifications
- Update and execution of automated test cases (regression test portfolio)

- Highly motivated, with willingness to learn functional aspects of trading
- Good communication skills, team-player with willingness to take responsibility and to integrate into the team
- Open-minded with strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of scripting / programming, preferably in Python or Perl
- Knowledge of Linux operating system (user level)
- Knowledge of databases (e.g. MySQL) as well as XML, GitHub, Jira, and continuous integration systems is of advantage
- User experience in GitHub, Jira, and continuous integration systems is of advantage
- Experience with test automation and executing automated functional tests
- Fluent English is a must, German can be beneficial
