General information regarding consent to the personal data processing

By giving your consent to personal data processing, you consent to the fact that the company GIT Consult Czech s.r.o., Company Number: 264 21 585, having its registered office at Fügnerovo náměstí 1808/3, 120 00 Praha 2, entered in the Commercial Register maintained at the Metropolitan Court in Prague, (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), shall process your personal data according to the terms and conditions and regulations specified hereunder. The Company declares that the processing of your personal data complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Your personal data may be processed manually or using automated systems and shall only be processed for the purposes specified below.  

Why do I give my consent?

The Company will process your personal data for one or more purposes according to the nature of cooperation:

  1. Mediating the employment of subjects at third parties, if you respond to an advertised job offer. Such mediation involves:
    • the processing of all relevant data required to evaluate your work skills;
    • the transfer of relevant data to the client of your choice to assess your work skills;
    • storing your data in the GIT internal database for the opportunity to keep records of your person as a potential employee of this Company or its clients;
    • storing your data in the GIT internal database for the opportunity to contact you with a new job offer.
  1. The purposes of direct marketing, primarily involving:
    • sending notification of appropriate job offers;
    • sending newsletters, information and links to news in the sphere of labour law and the labour market, changes in legislation and in the rights of employees in the Czech Republic.
  1. Commercial purposes (to concern new clients or participants in training), primarily involving:
    • the information required to enter into contracts and agreements;
    • maintaining contact during cooperation established or commercial activity.

Which categories of personal data does the Company process?

  1. contact data;
  2. the data required to evaluate your work abilities.

For how long do I give my consent?

The Company will process your personal data for the period of time determined according to the specific purpose of giving consent.

  1. The period of processing data for the purpose of mediating employment is set at 3 years.
  2. The period of processing data for the purpose of managing personnel and payroll administration for regular and temporarily assigned employees is not longer than that required to manage personnel and payroll administration. GIT considers such a period to be the period of duration of an employment relationship or the period of time which the valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic provide it for archiving.
  3. The period of data processing for the purpose of commercial relationships is limited a) to the period of duration of a contract entered into by and between GIT and the concerned legal person or natural person, or b) to the period of duration of the employment relationship of the data subject in accordance with a contract entered into by and between GIT and the concerned legal person.
  4. The period of data processing for the purpose of marketing activities is set at 1 year.

Your personal data will be erased after the validity and effect of consent have expired, unless you actively express an interest in extending the validity of such consent.   What rights do I have in connection with personal data protection?   You primarily have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  1. the right to withdraw your consent at any time;
  2. the right to rectify or supplement personal data;
  3. the right to demand restriction of processing;
  4. the right to lodge an objection to or complaint against processing, in certain cases;
  5. the right to request the transfer of data; 
  6. the right of access to personal data;
  7. the right to be notified of breach of security of personal data, in certain cases;
  8. the right of erasure of personal data (“the right to be forgotten), in certain cases;
  9. other rights specified in the Act on Personal Data and in General Data Protection Regulation No 2016/679.

How and when can I withdraw my consent to personal data processing?

You can withdraw your voluntarily given consent to personal data processing at any time, and without charge, by sending an e-mail to office@gitisit.cz, in which you notify the Company of withdrawal of the consent given. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing of personal data which the controller processes for a purpose or based on a legal basis other than consent to personal data processing (personal data processing is required for the management of personnel and payroll administration).  

Who will have access to my personal data?

The authorised employees of the Company and, where appropriate, the persons of third parties – client and suppliers of the Company – assuming they ensure the required protection of your rights within the bounds of contractual measures, shall have access to your personal data. These persons shall only have access to your personal data for the absolutely necessary length of time and to the absolutely necessary extent.
