The team is focusing on planning, designing and standardizing x86 technologies, ensuring architectural consistency and driving innovation across our international environments.
Responsible for support of major strategic initiatives, partner with global and regional stakeholders, and contribute directly to the future roadmap of our x86 platforms.
Infrastructure Planning & Technical Design
- Design scalable, reliable, and future-proof x86 infrastructure solutions
- Perform capacity planning and calculations to ensure stability, performance, and availability
- Contribute to the standardization of x86 technologies
- Translate business and technical requirements into consistent, high-quality infrastructure designs
Department internal Projects Coordination
- Plan and coordinate major infrastructure initiatives, including:
a) Hardware renewals
b) x86 modernization and optimization projects (e.g., adoption of HCI concepts)
c) Lifecycle-related improvements, such as technology refreshes, architecture updates, and enhancements to overall platform performance and efficiency
- Work closely with international colleagues to ensure cross-unit alignment and transparent execution
Technical Expertise & Collaboration
- Act as a technical expert in x86 server platforms, VMware virtualization, and performance-/capacity-optimization
- Leverage your operational and design experience to improve platform stability and long-term architecture decisions
- Collaborate with global and regional IT teams on feasibility assessments, demand planning, and solution evaluation
Deep expertise in x86 technologies:
- Enterprise Server hardware (e.g. Dell, HPE).
- Virtualization and Management Components (VMware Aria Suite, vCF, HCI and vSAN)
- Infrastructure performance and capacity analyzing methods (e.g. Aria Operations)
- Proven experience in designing and operating large-scale x86 environments
- Work in a global team – internal projects in 6 countries
