Identify learning & development requirements and prepare development plans for the employees. Ensure quality education and coordinate vocational trainings. Responsible for the setup and maintenance of career paths.
Advise and support managers in people management activities for defined scope
HR Management Support
Partner with a specific business or businesses to develop and deliver the HR Strategy aligned with the business strategy and Corporate policies and procedures. Provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives.
Ensure key HR business processes are implemented effectively (e.g. performance management, annual pay/bonus reviews, learning and development, talent planning, succession planning).
Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees.
Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources.
Employee Relations
Build a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfer requests to/from the business unit.
Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organisational decisions and career development. Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.
Support HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies and practices.
HR Instruments and Systems
Participate in implementation and development of HR Instruments and Systems.
Use relevant data and systems to recommend policy and process solutions to align with HR strategy and plans.
Creation of evaluations and reporting (MI 0.2 report, OMIS, SAP).
Recruiting
Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensure the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and compliance with law requirements.
May assist with job advertising, posting and post job information on Omya homepage and external websites.
Review resumes, perform telephone interviews, administer in-person interviews and conducts reference & background checks.
Recommending placement of internal and external candidates.
HR Administration and Payroll
Provide all needed support to make sure that all locally required HR admin and payroll processes are in compliance with law requirements.
Act as a contact person in case of any HR related questions coming from employees.
Review existing policies to be up to date with the newest legislation.
Education & Professional Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
3–7+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Business Partner or generalist role
Experience in an international or matrix organization is an advantage
HR Expertise & Knowledge
Strong understanding of core HR processes including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compensation cycles
Proven experience in talent management, career development frameworks, and learning & development initiatives
Solid knowledge of local labor law and HR compliance requirements
Experience in employee relations, including handling performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Business & Advisory Skills
Ability to partner with business leaders and translate business needs into HR strategies
Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and advise managers on people-related topics
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and propose actionable solutions
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment processes
Ability to assess candidates effectively through interviews and screening techniques
Understanding of employer branding and sourcing strategies
HR Systems & Data Management
Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g. SAP or similar platforms)
Strong data analysis and reporting skills (HR metrics, dashboards, MI reports)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
